    Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book is inspired by the landscapes at Pench Tiger
    Reserve in Madhya Pradesh.

    Pench National Park,located in the lower southern reaches of the 
    Satpuda Hill is named after the Pench river,meandering through the park 
    from north to south. Pench National park is 758 Sq.Kms,of which a core 
    area of 299 Sq.Km is the national park and the remaining 464 Sq.Km  
    is the buffer area.     Hotels & Resorts are are located nearby and one 
    has to book in advance before reaching there.
