Domestic Tourism Gets a Boost due to rapid economic development taking place 
in the country and greater disposable income combined with affordable Holiday
packages.

IITM 2018 was inauguratedby Mr.SA.RA.Mahesh,Minister for Tourism,Karnataka
in the Bangalore Palace.Mr.Rohit Hangal,Director,Sphere Travelmedia & Exhibitions
& Mr.Sanjay Halkhu,Director,Sphere Travelmedia were also present.Mr.John Amaratunga
Minister for Tourism,Srilanka and mr.T.K.Anilkumar,IAS,Secretary,Tourism,Government
of Karnataka were also present.The event will be fro THREE days from 27th July,2018 TO
29th July,2018.

India International travel Mart (IITM) will showcase a variety of destinations from different
spheres such as Pilgrimages,Adventure,Culture & Heritage,Beaches,Hills and much more.
There are about 450 participants from over 15 Countries and over 20 Indian States.
Sri Lanka is the partner Country this year.IRCTC has a stall marketing their packages
including their international packages.
