TOURISM SECTOR ALONE CREATED 14.62 MILLION JOB
OPPURTUNITIES IN THE COUNTRY IN THE LAST 4 YEARS
SAYS Mr.K.J.Alphons,Minister of State (I/C) for Tourism,
Govt.of India.
The Minister also added that the Tourism Ministry is now focusing on
promotion of unexplored areas of North eastern states of India like the
largest Cave Network of Asia which is in Meghalaya.Refuting the recent
reports in the media on " safety Of women in India",the Minister asserted
that India is safe for Tourists.From centuries,India always treated the
Tourists as Gods as the Slogan goes,' Athithi Devo Bhava".
There are also plans to promote Cruise Tourism in the country.
